A Trinity Buoy Wharf Wedding

30th April 2020

It’s no surprise Trinity Buoy Wharf is one of the coolest wedding venues in London for a thousand reasons.

(updated 2023)

That glorious riverside terrace, the amazing dome views, the lighthouse, the high ceilings and industrial vibe that comes with the huge warehouse are some of my favourite aspects that makes this one of best venues to celebrate urban weddings in London.

This was a full-on Irish x Greek wedding extravaganza darlings, and the size and beauty of the chainstore at Trinity Buoy Wharf more than complimented Fran + Ciaran’s personalities. An Irish band learnt how to play greek wedding songs within only a few days before the wedding and they did so great that all guests were on that dance floor at some point and I almost got trampled shooting the Zorba’s.

The ceremony took place at the Greek Orthodox of St John the Theologian. Fran wore an entire flower-lace filled Heart Aflutter gown by Laudae and had friends and family decorate the venue (just you wait till you see the details! this post has some major wedding decor inspiration and I went heavy on the pics so I can show you how beautiful Trinity Buoy Wharf looked inside).

Huge thanks to my girl Kari Bellamy for 2nd shooting this one with me!

If you’re looking for a unique and charming location for your wedding, Trinity Buoy Wharf may be just the place for you. Located in London, England, Trinity Buoy Wharf is a historic site that has been transformed into a cultural and artistic hub. This unconventional venue offers stunning views of the Thames River, an industrial chic vibe, and plenty of character that will make your wedding day truly unforgettable.

The venue has a range of spaces that can accommodate weddings of different sizes, from intimate ceremonies to grand celebrations. The Electrician’s Shop is a popular choice for wedding ceremonies, with its high ceilings, exposed brick walls, and large windows that let in natural light. The Chainstore is another unique space that can be used for ceremonies, receptions, or both. This cavernous room boasts an industrial feel, with rusted iron pillars and steel beams that create a dramatic backdrop for your wedding.

One of the standout features of Trinity Buoy Wharf is its outdoor spaces. The Riverside Terrace is a charming spot that overlooks the Thames and is perfect for outdoor ceremonies or receptions. The Container City Courtyard is another great option, with its colorful shipping container studios and lively atmosphere. Both of these spaces offer unique photo opportunities that you won’t find anywhere else.

When it comes to catering, Trinity Buoy Wharf has a range of options to suit different tastes and budgets. You can choose from their list of preferred caterers or bring in your own, and they can accommodate a range of dietary requirements. Whether you’re looking for a formal sit-down meal or a more relaxed buffet-style feast, the team at Trinity Buoy Wharf can help you create the perfect menu for your special day.

Another advantage of choosing Trinity Buoy Wharf as your wedding venue is the flexibility it offers. The team is happy to work with you to create a bespoke package that suits your needs and budget. Whether you’re looking for a simple ceremony or a full-service wedding with all the trimmings, they can help you bring your vision to life.

In summary, if you’re looking for a wedding venue that is truly unique, Trinity Buoy Wharf is definitely worth considering. With its stunning views, industrial chic vibe, and flexible approach to weddings, it’s the perfect location for couples who want to make a statement on their big day.

” Thank you so much for our photos they are brilliant! Exactly what we wanted. Everyone we have showed them too has loved them and there are some real crackers from the party part of the day! Which I am so grateful that you stayed late for. You really went above and beyond on the day and we appreciate it so much. Now all I have to do it figure out which ones I want to print… there are so many haha. ” – Fran + Ciaran
