AMIE + AARON
An intimate ceremony for family only at the beautiful Old Marylebone Town Hall, followed by wedding portraits at the Barbican Centre and reception at Clerkenwell Grind.
If you have been following my work for a while, you know how obsessed I am with shooting weddings + couples at the Barbican, so when someone gets in touch + tell me how much they also love the Barbican and that they want to do their portraits there, I always do a mini celebratory dance around my office.
Amie + Aaron were turning heads wherever they walked at the Barbican on the day of their wedding – Amie wearing one of the most beautiful bridal gowns by Self Portrait, and insanely cool white leather boots!
One legendary Barbican resident saw us taking photos and invited us into the private gardens – that one you can only get in with a special key + we couldn’t believe our luck when we got to shoot there. I’m glad I wasn’t the only trying to take a little peak at what the apartments looked like inside (unreal!) being the three of us so in love with the whole Barbican complex + feeling lucky we got to experience such a beautifully well kept private area of the Barbican.
The rest of the night was spent partying in their wedding reception at the super trendy Clerkenwell Grind nearby. Amie is an amazing graphic designer, so she added her magical touches to the decor and all stationary + menu into this beautiful blush pink themed wedding, matching giant balloons + neon lights all around the venue!
The Barbican is one of my favorite wedding venues to shoot at in London!
